Here is a picture of the 140th St. wild rose (for lack of technical or correct name). It is now in bloom. Thought you might like to see it too. The blossoms on this one seem to curl under somewhat and is between the size of the 75th St. wild rose and the Roberts Creek wild rose.

These roses are very fragrant and hardy and I look forward to their blossoms each summer. Not real showy over all but the scent is worth their weight in gold. Plus for a non green thumber like me they survive in spite of me. Of course if they weren't growing in a planter pot they probably would do much better. But I have had the 75th St. one in a planter pot now for 20 years and it is still blooming. So I guess the message is "Bloom where you are planted!"

"He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields it's fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 1:3
Whatever you do in life, do it as unto the Lord and you will prosper!
