Observing how much Kevin had grown as he approched his 5th birthday I asked him: “How come you’re growing so much? He answered matter of factly, “Because God’s inside me!”

Who’s Job Is It?

When I had some chore to be done I
would ask in general "Will somebody
let the cats out?" or "Will somebody
go get the mail?" and invariably
Kevin was that "SOMEBODY" so
when I saw this little story in the school
newsletter one day I had to save it
because it was so perfect.

This is a story about 4 people named
EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY and NOBODY.

There was an important job to be done
and EVERYBODY was asked to do it.
EVERYBODY was sure SOMEBODY would do it.
ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it.
SOMEBODY got angry about that, because it was EVERBODY’S job. EVERBODY thought ANYBODY could do it but NOBODY realized that EVERYBODY wouldn’t do it. It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have done.
