Here is an editorial cartoon 75 years old!
Seem familier? Most all of us know what happened and how long it took to get things straightened out. Most of those in D.C. weren't even born then!
Look at this cartoon from 1934 and look especially carefully at the plan of action.
Remember the adage, "Those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it!" Looks like we could be in for difficult times. Frightening!
And just in case you can't read it it says:
"Plan of Action for U.S.
Spend! Spend! Spend under the guise of recovery -- bust the government --Blame the Capitalists for the failure--junk the Constitution and Declare A Dictatorship"
While a picture of Stalin is to the right saying "How red the sunrise is getting!"
On the back of the cart the sign says "DEPLEATING THE RESOURCES OF THE SOUNDEST GOVERNMENT IN THE WORLD"
Does this ring any bells or sound familier today? With the Fourth of July and what it means: OUR INDEPENDANCE DAY! Is our Independance being taken away from us as we read this?
We the People need to pray as if everything depends on us and do what we can to stop this madness.
What will we do about it? What will YOU do to help save this country from destruction? I have been praying hard and signing petitions, passing along info and donating where and when I can as the Lord enables me to do so. Do what you can however little or much you can do. Every little bit helps.
